The Colorado Association of Healthcare Executives (CAHE) cordially invites you to attend our annual holiday social scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Falcon Club, US Air Force Academy.
CAHE is honored to have as our guest Major General David A. Rubenstein, FACHE. General Rubenstein serves as the 2008-2009 Chairman of the American College of Healthcare Executives. General Rubenstein will speak briefly about the current state of our healthcare economy and the role that ACHE and we can play in the future of healthcare.
Board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow, General Rubenstein was an ACHE Governor from 2002 to 2006 and the ACHE Regent for the Army Western Region from 2000 to 2002. Prior to his current appointment, General Rubenstein was the Commanding General, Europe Medical Command, and Command Surgeon, U.S. Army Europe. He was previously the Army's Assistant Surgeon General for Force Sustainment, the commander of the 30th Medical Brigade and Command Surgeon of the V U.S. Corps in Heidelberg, Germany, the commander (CEO) of Lundstuhl Regional Medical Center (Germany) and the 21st Combat Support Hospital in Killeen, Texas and on deployment to Bosnia and Herzegovina. General Rubenstein is a member of the American Hospital Association, Association of the United States Army, Association of Military Surgeons of the United States (AMSUS), and Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. He has been awarded the Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Order of Military Medical Merit, Ray E. Brown Award from AMSUS, and Federal Excellence in Healthcare Leadership Award, which was presented by ACHE's then District 8. He has twice been named in Modern Healthcare's list of the 100 most influential people in healthcare.
The CAHE annual holiday social is a great opportunity to relax, enjoy great food and celebrate the holidays with fellow Colorado healthcare leaders. Additionally, CAHE will have the opportunity to recognize our annual sponsors who have made this year's programs such a success.

Dinner will include Roasted Turkey and Virginia Baked Ham, dressing, salad, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, dessert, coffee and tea.

From the South: From I-25 North, exit North Academy Blvd. and turn left into the south gate of the Air Force Academy--you will be on Stadium Blvd. Proceed up Stadium Blvd. just past the football stadium and turn left on Academy Drive. The Falcon Club is the first building on the right at the top of the hill.
