The Colorado Association of Healthcare Executives (CAHE) held its June education and networking event on Thursday June 19, 2008 at the newly constructed St. Francis Health Center in Colorado Springs, CO. 

After touring the beautiful new St. Francis Health Center, attendees enjoyed a panel discussion: Building on the Foundation of Medical Staff Relations with a group of nationally respected healthcare executives.  The panel was moderated by Larry McEvoy, MD.  Dr. McEvoy is the Chief Executive Officer at Memorial Health System in Colorado Springs.  As a healthcare leader, Dr. McEvoy's commitment to producing patient-centered results and his passion for restoring the energy and vitality of clinical personnel mix with his perspective as an emergency physician, physician leader and patient, to render him a powerful speaker, mentor, and healthcare strategist.

Dr. McEvoy was joined on the panel by Manoj Pawar, MD and Dr. John Fugate.  Dr. Pawar is the Chief Medical Officer of the Exempla Physician Network.  Exempla Physician Network is a national quality award winner and the second largest physician group in the Denver Metro area.  Dr. Fugate is the Medical Director of the Memorial Children's Hospital.  Dr. Fugate brings a fresh perspective to the table with his vast experience in leading medical staff at Children's hospitals in the Boston, Minneapolis, and Colorado markets.
