The Colorado Association of Healthcare Executives (CAHE) held its April education and networking event on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO.

Our guest speaker, Mark Wallace, MD MPH, presented an Update and Summary of the Colorado 208 Blue Ribbon Commission for Healthcare Reform.  The 208 Blue Ribbon Commision was created to study and establish health care reform models for expanding coverage, especially for the underinsured and uninsured, and to decrease health care costs for Colorado residents.

Mr. Wallace is the executive director of the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment; the founder of the North Colorado Health Alliance; and the Vice-Chair of the Colorado Blue Ribbon Commission for Healthcare Reform.
