The Colorado Association of Healthcare Executives (CAHE) held its February education and networking event on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at The University of Colorado Hospital Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado.

Our guest speaker, Marion L. Shumway, Senior Organizational Development Leader at Intel presented: Change Yourself to Change Your World.  Marion Shumway shared his insights on the personal leadership journey of creating lasting organizational change. Leading change and creating adaptive organizations that achieve sustainable success is one of the greatest challenges of leadership and at the core of that challenge is the leader's personal journey. Mr. Shumway helped us examine what kind of leadership creates lasting change?  Who are the leaders that make it happen...and how can we have a lasting impact?

Mr. Shumway is a Senior Organization Development Leader at Intel with 15 years experience in organization development and human resource management and has a Master's Degree in Organizational Behavior.  He has worked with leaders in multiple industries and multiple locations across the world to create and sustain organizational change that achieves results.
