The Colorado Association of Healthcare Executives (CAHE) and the Colorado Women's Forum in Health Administration (CWFHA) held its first joint education and networking event on Thursday, October 11, 2007, Denver VA Medical Center, Auditorium, 1055 Clermont Street, Denver, CO. CAHE/CWFHA hosted a panel discussion entitled "Medical Staff Relations" which was awarded 1.5 hours of ACHE Category I education credit. The panel members included Dr. Rulon F. Stacey, Ph.D., FACHE, President & CEO Poudre Valley Health System, Dr. Terry O'Rourke, MD, Senior VP & Chief Medical Officer Centura Health, and Bo Hansen, RN, MBA, Principal Consultant, Press Ganey & Associates, Inc. The focus of the evening's panel was the relationship between the medical staff and administration, strategies for involving the medical staff in decision making and planning, and aligning the medical staff with organizational strategies.
This program has been developed and was presented locally by CAHE/CWFHA. The American College of Healthcare Executives has awarded 1.5 Category I (ACHE Education) credit hour to this program. To receive ACHE education credit, your name MUST have appeared on the Sign-In Sheet.
